Thank you for applying to Residential Finance Network for your mortgage needs. Here are the five easy steps to obtaining your mortgage loan: I. Submit Your Application to Residential Finance Network No matter how you submit your application to Residential Finance Network, you can be assured that your loan will be processed, approved and closed in the most efficient way possible. To apply today, print and complete our complete mortgage loan application that is an Adobe pdf file. The application is legal size and is easiest to read on legal paper, but you can also print on letter size paper if you would like. You can then fax the completed application to (203) 259-0514 or mail the application to our offices at: 1330 Post Road, Suite 3 Fairfield, CT 06824 If you prefer to speak to someone directly you can apply by phone. Simply call our toll free telephone number (800) 728-3867 during our normal business hours Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm Eastern time. Alternatively, you can leave an E-mail with an evening number and a member of our staff will contact you at home. Telephone applications take anywhere from 15 to 20 minutes to complete. Our goal is to make applying for a mortgage as painless as possible, so we offer you these choices of application options. Save the trip to a loan office and being forced to deal with an inexperienced mortgage officer trying to sell you the loan product of the week. Instead, we offer you the highest level of expertise on-line and by phone or fax. Also, our automated underwriting sytems substantially reduce the amount of paperwork required to complete your loan. No matter how you submit your loan, you will receive a follow-up telephone call and e-mail from a Residential Finance Network staff member to confirm receipt of your application. II. Submit Your Supporting Documentation. Upon receipt of your completed application we will obtain preliminary underwriting approval of your loan by the end of the next business day. If approved, we will foward a copy of your application, disclosures and a list of any documents required to complete your file. If you are denied, you will receive an exact reason along with specific suggestions on how to get your loan approved as soon as possible. III. Completing the Appraisal Once the credit portion of your loan application has been approved, we will order an appraisal after obtaining your approval from an independent appraisal company in your area. Because the appraiser will be from your area, you can be assured of receiving an accurate value estimate for your home. You will be required to pay for the cost of the appraisal. The appraisal fee and the initial application fee are the only non-refundable fees that you will incur. The appraisal fee is $325 for single family homes or condominiums and $500 for multi-family homes. In some cases (especially refinance loans), a full appraisal may not be needed and your appraisal fee may be less. Your Residential Finance Network representative will inform you of your specific charge. If you are concerned about the value of your home having an impact on your loan application (especially for cash-out refinance loans), we suggest visiting any of a number of web sites that offer free or inexpensive estimates of the value of your home. IV. Locking Your Interest Rate You may lock your interest rate at any time after your completed application is confirmed as received by Residential Finance Network. You do not need to wait for an approval to lock your rate. Simply contact us with your request. V. Closing Your Loan Once your loan is approved, your paperwork is received, the appraisal completed and your interest rate is locked in, you will be able to schedule a closing for your purchase or refinance loan. For refinances, you will be contacted by a local closing agent for an appointment to sign loan documents. Purchase loan borrowers should have their closing agent handling the purchase of their home contact us to coordinate a closing date. We look forward to helping you with your home financing needs! |
